Dear Ingrid,
I love you so much. I try to tell you that at least one million times a day, but sometimes I feel like I can't fit it all in. You told me you loved me for the first time this month. We were practicing saying "Love you" like always and you said it! Your version anyway: "Uv youuu". It was such a special moment. But not as special as when you said it on your own with no prompting the other night. I laid you down in your bed for night night, and you looked up at me and said "Uv you mama." AHHHHHH. It was heart-melting. You are such a sweet, sweet girl. You love to give kisses and you rock your babies and stuffed animals and tell them "Shhh, shhh, no cry." You are getting ready for your baby sister to get here, I just know it! You still love to read books and play with all your toys. You are more interested in riding toys now. You rode your green 4-wheeler push toy at Gammy's a long way the other day. All by yourself! We are so proud of all you can do. The weather outside is getting cooler and much more enjoyable and you are taking full advantage of it. You declare you want to go outside many times a day! You move so fast it's very hard to keep up with you. I think we are going to have to build a fence around a portion of our backyard to keep you contained a little bit. You are very aware of Mommy's growing belly and want to look at it all the time. At home, in a restaurant, in the middle of a store. You say "Belly button," and lift up my shirt. Then you say "Hi Biz," which is what you call your sister. You love to give her kisses and play peek-a-boo with her. You really love to play peek-a-boo with anyone who will play. Tonight at supper, you wanted us to play with you so bad. You covered up your face and said "Ingrid, where are you?" and then you would crack up. I love hearing your laugh and seeing your smile. You have 5 teeth now. Three on top and two on bottom. Your little gums are so swollen every day but you don't seem to mind. You are such a fun baby and I love being with you every second I can. Happy 14 months!
